On their way out of Ottawa last night, the Sens left from MacDonald-Cartier, as opposed to their regular Shell station departure point. My spies tell me that Meszaros was walking with a "definite limp". However, the Senators Media Line reported no new injuries following the Buffalo game. If the young defenseman plays poorly tonight in New Jersey, you'll know why. Stay tuned.

  1. This is a great example of breaking news instead of just opining about it.

Meszaros looked really slow out there against the Pens tonight. But he wasn't the only one half-assing it out there. Heatly and Alfie got caught in front of the net just watching the second Pens goal go in. OLN broadcasters made special note of that too.

  2. Meszaros finished with a goal and an assist, and was the game's first star. I didn't notice anything wrong with his speed, and I was present at the game. Those OLN guys sure know their stuff. I'm curious to know how they defended Crosby's horrific giveaway which led to the Vermette goal. Spin much?

  3. On the replay, I remember OLN guys saying "Crosby made a valient effort to recover the play" or something very close along those lines.
